Scrypa Education

More time for the class, less time at the weekend.

The observation spoken, as pedagogical documentation.

Scrypa Education structures your spoken observation into a finished learning progress report, support plan or record and transfers it into your school administration.

Teachers, special needs educators, school leadership and early years staff.

The daily reality

The reports happen in the evening and at the weekend, not in class.

Observations from the school day are turned into learning progress reports, support plans and minutes from memory in the evening. That costs weekends, and depending on the state and school type, assessment, support planning and disadvantage compensation must be documented in a comprehensible way.

Why a dedicated Scrypa Education

Scrypa Education knows the language of the school, from competence areas through support targets to assessment criteria, and structures the spoken observation into a finished entry. A general-purpose dictation tool knows neither competence levels nor the difference between disadvantage compensation and mark protection.

I speak the observation right after the lesson. By report time the learning progress reports are almost finished, instead of me giving up two weekends for them.

Comprehensible assessment

Depending on state school law, for example § 48 of the North Rhine-Westphalia School Act, assessment must be justified and comprehensible. Scrypa records the criteria and observations across the period, not just the mark.

Support planning and disadvantage compensation

For students with a need, support measures and disadvantage compensation must be documented, regulated by state law. Disadvantage compensation does not change the performance requirement and is usually not noted on the report card.

Data protection for student data

Student data is subject to the GDPR with purpose limitation and data minimisation, made specific by the school data protection rules of each state. Special data such as a support need belongs in the student file.

EU hosting and offline

All student data is processed exclusively within the EU. Scrypa works even without a stable connection in the classroom and syncs later.

School law is a matter for the states, and there is no nationwide form. The templates can be adapted to state school law and school type, from competence grids to the fields of the support plan.

All data is processed in a GDPR-compliant way exclusively within the EU, with purpose limitation and data minimisation. There is no data transfer to third countries.

Yes. Scrypa Education works offline and syncs the entry as soon as a connection is available again.
